Cruising Galicia this summer. The trip back north will start October from Vigo and after the start of the Vendée Globe to the English Channel in November.
The yacht is a beautiful classic wooden yawl built in 1920, designed by the genius Max Oertz, and has been constantly maintained and improved over the years. It can be described as an "gentleman's yacht", built as a pleasure boat, with style and sport, qualities which remain today. It is designed strong for comfortable sailing on big oceans for long periods, turns heads, when you enter anchorages or marinas and overall very enjoyable to sail.
She can sleep up to 8 ppl, but mostly we sail with max 4(-6) persons on board. I really enjoy having a mixed international crew (because it means we can fly more flags and can learn about our cultures…)
The yacht can be run single handed, so its not mandatory to come with sailing experience, just some willingness to participate and bring your own skills in.
