My current position has me piloting a 35 ft twin outboard RIB around southeast Alaska. I'll be in South Florida in the fall (September 2019), with the next potential long term availability around then.

My name is David. I'm 27 and from the USA. A former mechanical engineer that now spends time traveling. The previous three years have been spent skiing in Colorado, leading road trips across the USA, working on a boat in Alaska, and sailing.

As for sailing experience, I spent early 2019 exploring the Western Caribbean aboard a few different sailing vessels. I have crewed aboard three different boats learning the ropes. I've learned quite a bit, but obviously I still have a ways to go! Total sailing experience is about 1500 NM over about 90 days.

Before this, I had been on boats out at sea, but only as a pax, never crew. I am not prone to sea sickness, but I am human.

I'm easy going, a great listener, and ready to learn. I'm eager to jump in headfirst and learn new skills all while experiencing new things.
