I have lived and worked in Russia for most of my life, but my heart has been at sea since the first time I stepped on board a sailboat.
Yes, I am a passionate sailor and love to share my knowledge and passion with others.
I mainly travel as a skipper, but I also have experience as first mate in Scandinavian circumnavigation.
I also have singlehanded boat handling experience in short delivery trips.
My experiences come from both the warm Mediterranean / Canary Islands and the harsh Barents and North Seas.

IYT Yachtmaster Offshore and RYA Coastal Skipper certificates. But practical experience is on first place.
Fully qualified and actively working Yacht Surveyor (Dip YachtSur in Steel, Plastic, Wooden Yachts and Small Boats) with Diploma from the British Maritime Training Academy. It helps me to understand how yachts work and how to check their condition to ensure a safe journeys.
In total, over the past 8 years, over 3000 nautical miles traveled on 13 voyages, 7 of which - as a skipper and 2 of which - as a 1st mate.
Others hired me as a charter skipper and for singlehanded deliveries.
Have an ISAF certificate of survival at sea and basic education in first aid from the Red Cross.
While on board, always strive to be part of the team and never refuse to do any work as a team or in person.
Love to be at sea. Usually don't get seasick.
Enjoy night sailing and watch-keeping experience, fully equipped for both warm and cold conditions.
Basic free-diving skills help me a lot in anchorages.
Enjoy being part of the crew, but can manage boat single-handed as well.
Always looking for ways to ensure the maximum safety of the crew and boat.
Romantic person, love lyrics and even write my own during long passages.
Experienced boat maintenance on shore, volunteered for seasonal boat service.
Can laminate, sand, polish, apply anti-fouling.
Russian, English and basic French.

I enjoy meeting people of the sea from different parts of the world.
Money is also a good motivation. At the moment, this is not my main driver, but it can offset my expenses and allow me to have even more sea in my life.
In the future, I plan to get my own boat.
And when it will be - I will go on a voyage around the world.
