G'day I am Phil ,I am an easygoing guy who loves the outdoors .I love fishing as well as sailing .I have crewed on numerous yachts and have sailed Bass Strait 3 times ,the Tasman once and the North Atlantic last year . i am keen for another adventure !!!!!!

I love the ocean ,I have had several adventures ,going from Dampier to Gove on a motorsailer in 1994 and from Tin Can Bay to Mackay in 2008 on a 42 foot Easton cat. In dec.2012 I crewed on a 38 foot Seawind from Hervey Bay,Qld. down to Sydney .In Jan/feb 2013 I crewed on a 44 foot Bavarian from Mooloolabah down to Brisbane then onto Norfolk Island and finally N.Z. Earlier this year 2014,I crewed on a 41ft.Mono sailing out of Queenscliff Victoria to King Island and along the Northern Tasmanian Coast,and back over Bass Strait via Flinders Island and up to Sydney.2015 has seen me help sail VICTOIRE the 2014 Sydney Hobart yacht race overall winner back to Sydney from Hobart after this years race. I am keen to do some more sailing as I plan to purchase my own cruising catamaran in the near future .I enjoy fishing and have done several extended sea kayaking trips in Tasmania ,Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour and around the Furneaux Group in Bass strait. In 2016 I have crewed on a catamaran sailing from Spain to Morocco, a month cruising the Canaries , then down to Cape Verdes ,3 weeks cruising around there and then the crossing to 🇧🇧 Barbados .
I’ve sailed for 4 weeks around the Greek Islands and 3 weeks in Turkey as well .

I have crewed on boats before and have my own 6.8m pleasure fishing boat at the moment .As I said I do plan to purchase my own Cruising catamaran in the near future to sail on so I need more experience in sailing . I can cook and am more than happy to cover my share of food costs.
