A Bavaria Vision 44, delivered new to Hong Kong in 2007. Since then we've cruised to Macau, Philippines, Malaysia (Borneo), Labuan, Brunei, Philippines (again), Palau, PNG, Queensland coast of Australia, a year in NZ when we circumnavigated North Island, then Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and back to Oz, cruising the east coast down to Sydney. We re-crossed the Tasman in 2016 to explore more of more of NZ, before heading up to Tonga & Fiji in May 17.
We are now back in glorious New Zealand, lucky to be sheltering here from the Covid storm.
Our yacht has three double cabins and two heads with showers. She's fast, very comfortable and well equipped with Cat 1 safety equipment including 8-man liferaft, sat-phone, EPIRB, VHF & SSB, RADAR, multiple GPS chartplotters and AIS. Also: autopilot, generator, water-maker, air-con (although seldom necessary), TV & DVD, 3 x kayaks, fishing & snorkeling gear, Powerdive, etc, etc. The aim is to be safe and have fun...
