Full time cruising aboard a Dufour 41 Classic. Atlantic coast for summer 2024 and into the Med for winter.

Hi.

Currently in Lagos, I plan to sail to Galicia in mid June. The plan is to largely stick to day sailing though one or two will be long days. I will spend 2 or 3 days in Lisbon and will do overnight stays over three days between there and Porto. Nazare and Figueira da Foz are possible stops. I will also spend a couple of days in Porto before a final run to the Vigo area. All of that is, of course, dependent on weather and plans can change.

I will spend summer in Galicia, cruising the Rias before returning south (late August/early September) and making my way into the Med. I have not yet decided where I will winter - Sicily and Cartagena are being considered.

The yacht is a Dufour 41 Classic. I've owned her since spring of 2022 and replaced the standing rigging last winter. Her sails (in mast furling) are a couple of years old - she was very well cared for by previous owners. She is comfortable and quite quick, for a cruising boat.
