I’ve spent a lot of time on the ocean, with a lot of sailing holidays in Southern Africa, local sailing around Tasmania and a yacht delivery from Newcastle to Hobart. Once in New Zealand I joined a racing team in spending my weekend racing a J120 in the Marlborough Sounds and taking her from Picton to New Zealand to French Polynesia. Which was a constant upwind battle of 24 days and arguably the best time of my life.

I am trained as a winemaker and work as an assistant winemaker in Tasmania making sparkling wine, this job has allowed me to work in California, New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.

In my spare time, I like to keep fit hiking, running, sailing, swimming, fishing, cooking, and art. I’m a very social guy but can appreciate other people's need for personal space.
