Full time cruising aboard a Dufour 41 Classic. Atlantic coast for summer 2024 and into the Med for winter.
About the boat, the plans, and current crew
Hi.
Currently in Galicia, I will leave here next week for Lagos in the Algarve. I already have crew for that leg.
In mid October, I will set out for Cartagena, my winter destination. It will be a cruise and not just a delivery so I hope to stop at a number of locations along the way.
The yacht is a Dufour 41 Classic. I've owned her since spring of 2022 and replaced the standing rigging last winter. Her sails (in mast furling) are a couple of years old - she was very well cared for by previous owners. She is comfortable and quite quick, for a cruising boat.
Given then nature of the sailing area, I prefer to have at least one other experienced crew member before considering someone with less experience but, as a minimum, I need crew who can do the basics without supervision.
