Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Hello fellow sailors.
I am sailing in México for the foreseeable future. I have a Sabre34 for cruising the waters of the Pacific Northwest during the summer months. I'm very easy going, and laid back, I love sharing my experiences with others. I will teach you all I know about sailing. I'm not afraid to see the errors of my ways. I want to continue sailing wherever my Crew and I feel like. My experience includes SFO to Hilo on an old Ericson 35 as crew, 3 Baja Haha's. The last one, sailing my boat from Seattle to where I'm at now. This is my 3rd year sailing in Mexico. Before heading for warmer weather I sailed for 15 years in the PNW. My smoking involves an occasional cigar in the evening while at anchor.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

usually cleancomfortablevery safevessel is survey certifiedvery spaciouslive on little moneyshare experiencevisit remote placesseek adventurelearn a languagefind a soulmate/partnerlive off the grid

I won't say my boat is immaculate but it isn't messy either. As with any live aboard there is some of my stuff that spills out. I do try to keep it isolated to my cabin. I have been living aboard for 19yrs. I retired 4years ago. Left Puget sound August 2021 for my great adventure. I am a solo sailor, so good crew is important to me.
The boat has been through a 4 years refit.. Included equipment is liferaft, epirb, SSB, VHF, autopilot, Starlink satellite WiFi, solar, and watermaker.

What is expected of the crew

clean & tidyeasy-goingenthusiasticfit & healthyfriendlyorganisedrespectfultrustworthyrarely/unlikely seasickgood listenergood communicatortravel light (little luggage)eager to learn & workpositive outlookopen mindedsense of humorcan pay own expensesenjoy cookingdon't mind cleaningcan follow ordersharmony

I like my crew to be friendly, courteous, help keep order on the boat. I would like you to have some offshore sailing experience, but it is not a deal breaker. I believe in having fun, but at the same time Safety at sea is paramount.
