I enjoy sailing (obviously), socializing, snorkeling, cooking, and poking around in dinghies.

Held USCG 100T Master's license, I let it expire because I didn't need it professionally anymore.
I am a Certified US Sailing Level 1 Instructor.
Former Director of Marine Technical Operations at The University of Miami School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. (That means I fully versed with all phases of maintaining a vessel)

Since it is currently hurricane season in this area as well well as just being to hot to sleep, I don't plan on any sailing until October. When the temperature cools down (hopefully in October) I will be hauling the vessel for scheduled maintenance. If you want to learn about boat maintenance this is your chance. I plan to cruise to destinations unknown after the yard period.

I personally knew the designer of the vessel (Jim Krogen). The vessel was designed for gunkholing in the shallow waters of the Bahamas and Florida Keys. New sails, and standing rigging. Less than 300 hours since last major engine overhaul. The vessel is well founded and carries a considerable amount of spares. I carry a RIB dinghy with a new 25 HP engine to get to snorkeling spots, and general exploring.

General crew requirements:
You don't need a lot of experience. I can teach you a lot about sailing and boats in general. If you are experienced all the better..
Be a decent human being.
Be willing to learn and help with general day to day chores..
Get yourself to and from the boat. Pay for your share of food and consumables. I will handle fuel, etc...
Plan on having a fun experience!
