Dear Shipmates

Introduction

I'm planning to sail back to the US (Annapolis, MD) in July or August.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

usually cleancomfortablevery safevessel is survey certifiedshare experiencemulticultural

The boat is a well equipped, properly maintained Caliber 47LRC with an experienced, easy going but professional, licensed captain. I'm a lousy cook so help with provisioning and a love of cooking are a really big plus. My boat's a blue water boat that's been built and equipped for heavy weather so while I don't seek out bad weather I'm not a fair weather sailer and would hope that you aren't either. I've been doing this for a while now and I'd like to find a long term traveling companion.

What is expected of the crew

respectfulclean & tidyfit & healthyfriendlypositive outlooktrustworthyopen mindedeasy-goingsense of humorcan pay own expensesenjoy cookingdon't mind cleaningwill not bring a friendwill not bring a pet

I would like the crew to either be competent or willing to learn the important stuff and become a competent watch stander quickly. I'm not a racer and don't like to work too hard while on passage so I'm not constantly fussing with the sails and rarely hand steer. :). If you want to learn, I'm happy to teach. It's obviously important that we all get along as this is supposed to be fun. Although I am 420 friendly, foreign customs officials are not, so no drugs at all thanks, no alcohol problems either.
