After traveling half way around the world with fantastic Findacrew crew, i now have a family and will not be needing crew. i have had findacrew folks from 28 countries, some amazing experiences. i also have helped my captains and crew find great, safe adventures. i am always glad to help anyone seeking it. Cruising with Brian was a great experience. He is a great teacher, willing to explaining everything you want to know about the boat, how it works, what to do and what not to do. He is a great companion, always willing to talk, listen, discuss whatever might be bothering you, has loads of stories to tell, never hiding anything, has a great sense of humour. He also has a sense of fairness, has respect for other peoples views no matter how different they might be and is just generally a very pleasant person to be around. I spent three months with him on the boat and we became very good friends. I feel honored to be able to spend all that time with him and his boat.

The yacht is a Selene 48 Ocean Trawler. I have now logged over 50,000 miles with very few problems-none big--ok, the icemaker died. The boat has full safety gear, tons of spares, redundant systems for all major components. She is stabilized and has a "get home" system. Also full entertainment system--500 movies--full galley and full dive gear including the compressor. Also two dinghies and three kayaks. Built in BBQ, Washer/dryer. Two staterooms and two full heads with showers and a water maker. incredibly comfortable. The crew shares one stateroom with two bunks and there is a bunk in the pilot house, also there is a hammock and mattresses for sleeping under the stars. berths given on first come first served basis.

We are a married couple, i an American and Donna a Filipino. we love having crew to share our life style. As Donna does not dive, i am looking for dive partners.

we are staying in the Philippine waters this year so do not need crew, i am always able to help anyone looking for boat or crew and share my experiences, just ask!

i expect the crew to have fun! and be fun. be good company, share in domestic chores, boat cleaning and keep watches--easy as the boat drives itself. i would like the crew to share in food costs with a set daily charge and cover personal expenses. i run a dry boat while underway at sea, but social drinking while anchored or at the dock is totally acceptable and common-- i do like to entertain and have many a fine cruiser party. There is a strict NO illegal drug and NO smoking policy-- no exceptions, violators will removed from the boat immediately . I will teach you as much or as little as you like-- i enjoy teaching and did it professionally. i like to tease, laugh and enjoy life--so should you.

Please be certain of your intentions, if you are a land traveler who is used to moving fast and being very independent this may not be for you. If you need to be able to think of what is best just for you each day and do it, rather than act as a group for the boat you may not fit as a crew member. Please be certain you want to crew and for the time agreed upon, and not prone to changing your mind on decisions as unscheduled crew changes create problems
