June 2017 sailed from Panama to Rio Dulce, Guatemala in 6 weeks.
Sailing experience:
MAY 2011, NEW ZEALAND
In the last 3,5 years i've been travelling in California, 15 months in NZ, 1 year in OZ, 3 months in NZ. Home is where i am. I would like to sail around the Pacific islands as a start, and in the same time learn about sailing. I don't really enjoy flying, and all the airport formalities. All the more, i figured out that travelling is what i want to do, so i have time to get to places. I am a really open-minded independent traveller. I usually work hard and i am passionate about what i do. I do like to read but don't have really the time,as i am often busy. I know practical things to b self dependant in the bush, bush food, water, shelter, lashing.... I have mostly worked in Hospitality and fruit picking because it's where they always need workforce. I also take part of work exchnage programs like WWOOFing or Helpex as a way of traveling and exchanging my great energy for experiencing different countries.
JUNE 2011
I just did a NZ Vanuatu passage, 1st time in the big deep blue, absolutely loved it. from night watches, to cooking down the galley, catching fish, cleaning the boat, deckhand duties. After boat sitting for 5 weeks in Port Villa, i was on board of a Catamaran. We cruised in Vanuatu, Solomons islands. Then we were on a delivery to Malaysia; so a 4 weeks passage from Gizo (solomons islands) through Hermits islands to Sandakan (Malaysia) where the boat stayed.I then flew back to France in nov 11.
DECEMBER 2012
it took us 5 weeks to cross the Atlantic! from Portugal to Barbados, on board of "Marie des Isles" we were engaged in the Panerai classical regatta.
JAN to MAY2012
From Barbados to Saint Martin, from island to island on different boats. I like to call it my pirate (of the Caraibeans) apprentice ship !!
