Please read the recommendations at the end of this profile.
If you enjoy the profile, consider enjoying me, &, the archipelago.
We can fly freely into Panama City (PTY) Panama & take the regional carrier, AIR PANAMA, from the regional airport in Panama City (PAC) to BOCAS (BOC). There are no Covid requirements.
The cruising season is rapidly approaching...I’m interested, are you?
I will be looking for crew/guests once again. I will hope to have a spectacular person, or persons, in whatever windows of time that work, who can add to my enjoyment of the boat & the archipelago. Notice...the big window of time begins in January, &, only until near the end of March.
The yacht is a beautiful sailing vessel. My wife passed away, so, I need crew to enjoy, &, with whom to enjoy the boat & the unbelievable beauty of the region. Of course, it is nice to have crew with some sailing skills, but, ALL who step onto a boat bring valuable life skills...the ability to: learn, listen, bathe, cook, clean, cooperate, smile, contribute, help, show enthusiasm, follow instructions & procedures, socialize, look after each other's safety...
I'm a California guy, so, I only speak ENGLISH, no smoking, &, I insist on cleanliness.
Sailing Inside the archipelago affords us many miles of sailing with not a chance of sea sickness. There are nice quiet anchorages, spectacular snorkeling, fresh lobsters sold to us by the indigenous population... My sailing experience is quite extensive...I've raced the Trans Pacific Yacht Races to HAWAII (4x), Trans Atlantic, UK, EUROPE, BERMUDA RACE, 1979 FASTNET RACE, San FRANCISCO to BOCAS-thru the PANAMA CANAL, TAHITI/FRENCH POLY, et al. You won't find more experience than that.
At the present, my plans are to cruise the BOCAS DEL TORO archipelago. This includes anchoring in places like STARFISH BEACH, DOLPHIN BAY, the ZAPATILLAs, CAYO CORAL/CRAWL CAY, MONKEY ISLAND, et al...with likely visits to el Clandestino Restaurant, &, MONKEY ISLAND/URRACA private Island. Snorkeling in some of the finest in the region is always part of what we do.
Despite my history of yacht racing, now, I just sail/cruise to enjoy the islands, the archipelago, the environment, &, importantly, the crew[s] with whom I am blessed.
If you are looking for blue water sailing, many days at sea, night watches...I am beyond all of that. I've been there...done that. Now we sail for several hours to an anchorage, we anchor, we enjoy. What I provide is more of the cruising lifestyle | sailing living in an unspoiled | safe | quiet | remote area | 83° water temperature | no foul weather gear | I tell you.
