Hello, my name is Martin, and I am a naval architect and marine engineer with seafaring experience on merchant ships and some sailing background. I hold the obligatory German Sport Boat License (SBF-See) and Short Range Certificate (SRC) and have a deep passion for the maritime world.

I am an open-minded and curious person, comfortable with a simple and modest lifestyle at sea. After more than a decade of working in the marine technology, shipbuilding, and offshore wind energy sector, providing industry support for ship design and marine operations, I have decided to take a step back and focus on fulfilling my lifelong dream of owning my own boat.

Until that time comes, I am eager to gain more offshore sailing experience and would be grateful for any opportunity to crew on a passage, learn, and contribute wherever I can. I am enthusiastic, hands-on, and always ready to support the team in any way needed.
