Introduction

I'm a software engineer working remotely for a streaming platform, I'm married and have 4 kids. We moved to Maryland (from the Midwest) in 2023, and I bought my first sailboat and fell in love with the idea of sailing the world. My wife and children are not interested in that idea, so I'm looking for a boat I can crew for a few months at a time to live my dream without disrupting my family too much. I'm a fun-loving easy-going guy, just looking to enjoy life to the fullest and meet awesome people to share it with. I'm very handy, I've preferred to do everything myself my whole life. So I have experience working on cars, mowers, houses (electrical, plumbing, general construction..), and tons of experience in IT being a software engineer for over 20 years.

But right now, my motivation is to find a boat to crew to get the experience of living on a boat and learning how to sail.
