Hi , I’m Jakub – an adventurous and hardworking crew member ready to cross the Atlantic!

I’m 21 years old, originally from Kraków, Poland, and I’m passionate about travel, endurance sports, and trying new things. Over the past two years, I’ve visited 23 countries, worked as a sports specialist in the U.S., and pushed my limits through long-distance running and hiking. These experiences taught me resilience, teamwork, and how to adapt to challenging environments.

Crossing the Atlantic from Europe to South America has been a dream of mine, and I’m determined to make it happen! While I don’t have sailing experience yet, I’m quick to learn, physically fit, and always ready to contribute to the crew. I can help with cleaning, cooking, and night shifts—or whatever else is needed on board.

I’m fluent in English, have an open mind, and bring a positive attitude to any team. My schedule is completely flexible, and I’m open to all kinds of proposals. A little about myself, my interests, and my plans

I’m a curious and open-minded traveler who’s always searching for the next adventure. Growing up in Kraków, Poland, I developed a love for the outdoors and staying active, which eventually led me to explore the world. I enjoy connecting with people, learning about different cultures, and trying new experiences that push me out of my comfort zone.

When I’m not traveling, I’m usually reading self-development books, working out, or challenging myself in endurance sports. These passions reflect my mindset: I believe in constant growth and the idea that every journey shapes who we are.

My main goal is to sail from Europe to either North or South America, as I plan to spend time volunteering in South America and exploring its unique cultures. However, I’m open to alternative destinations and excited about the possibility of discovering new countries along the way. What matters most to me is the adventure and the opportunity to contribute as part of a great crew.

My motivation and reasons to crew on a boat:

Sailing across the ocean has always been a dream of mine, combining adventure, personal growth, and the chance to connect with like-minded people. I’m motivated by the idea of stepping out of my comfort zone, embracing the challenges of life at sea, and learning valuable skills that will stay with me forever.

For me, this journey isn’t just about reaching a destination—it’s about the experience of working as part of a team, building trust with others, and contributing to something bigger than myself. I want to fully immerse myself in the unique lifestyle of sailing, from navigating the waters to handling daily responsibilities on board.

My ultimate goal is to travel to South America to volunteer, explore its rich culture, and connect with local communities. Sailing there feels like the perfect way to start that journey. I’m also open to alternative routes and destinations, as I believe the experience of being part of a crew will be transformative no matter where we go.
