I very much enjoy meeting people from around the world with a range of different sailing and work experiences!

I am a recreational sailor/skipper with sailing experience on yachts up to 70 ft and have sailed Norway, France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Turkey, Greece and Transatlantic (Lanzarote to Martinique).

My wife, a landlubber who honors my passion for sailing, will not be joining.

A perfect few days for me out on the water looks like sailing part of the day and experiencing good wind, hoping to rarely fire up the engine. Finding a beautiful bay, anchor down in time for a swim (skinny dipping, where and if it doesn't bother the local population).

I prefer anchorages over marinas and the use of the engine mainly to get in and out of anchorages. Generally I prefer quiet over crowded.

I divide my sailing year into two parts.
In the first six months I enjoy adventure, exploring new areas and learning different sailing styles/techniques. And I'm looking forward to getting to know new personalities.

From September through November I usually go sailing (as Skipper) with friends.
