I have read the RYA Competent Crew Skills book. I'm ready to get certified any way I can. I'm eager to learn more & live this as life. From crew to day skipper to eventually captain my own in years to come. It's been a dream of mine since spending childhood summers on the lake in an 18' sailing canoe or a 14' Sunfish.
I can meet anywhere in the world in three or four days usually & can be gone for extended periods of time. From months to a year or more.
I wish to learn how to sail & have a journey doing so.
I know I know nothing, not even enough to know what I don't know or where to begin.
I'm fit, enjoy learning, energetic & calm. I read, write, draw for leisure. I'm a retired Marine, university educated, lived in several other countries & pioneer my timber frame home offgrid in the middle of nowhere.
