Dear Shipmates
Introduction
Hey there, we’re interested in getting our own Cat one day for my partner and I to live aboard. I learned to sail on Lake Ontario and have my captains license, but lack much experience off a lake. We are looking to join a boat with an experienced crew who can offer us more education, and experience. Most importantly we are looking for the opportunity to live aboard a Cat to ensure that our dream of one day living aboard our own boat and the sailing lifestyle is more than just a fantasy.
We normally live in Montreal, but my family home is in FL. Our goal is to find someone sailing during the month of January in the Caribbean, along the East Coast of North America, or along the Central American coast willing to take us on for 2-4 weeks. We’re up for an adventure!

We are not the most experienced crew but we are committed to participating in all aspects of crew work, learning all aspects of maintaining and living aboard a Cat, while meeting fun new people who hopefully enjoy us providing them with some excellent home cooking.
We hope to find a boat crew who are experienced enough to teach us the skills to run our own boat while patient with instructions, laid back in the journey while maintaining safety consciousness, and most importantly LGBTQ friendly (we’re two gay guys after all :) We do have a small dachshund who would love to join us, but she’s not a requirement - but hopefully for the right crew, she is an incentive. Otherwise, she’s staying with her Granny while we sail.
