Ahoy,
Having raised a family and developed a lifestyle block, it is now time for me to take my commercial and recreational passions up full-time again, on the water. Being the son of a commercial fisherman, I obtained sea
time at a young age, gaining an Inshore Launch Masters Certificate, which allowed me to operate vessels up to
24m and fulfilling the dream of skippering charter boats.
With the flexibility of my current employment, in 2021 I purchased my own boat in order to chase game fish around New Zealand, creating amazing experiences with friends and family. It has been the driving force
behind getting back on the water full-time, with a career aspect learning in mind. Now that I have successfully accomplished my goals and fulfilled my responsibilities in NZ, I am looking further abroad, in particular
participating onboard privately owned catamarans. The intent is to share my ocean knowledge and obtain as much knowledge as I can from others, meet like-minded people, exploring the globe and making the most out of life.
My partner Jenni is an ocean enthusiast also, and first joined me aboard a 46’ ketch back in 1997 out of the Bay Of Islands. (NZ) We thrive as a team together, creating a real efficiency between us. Jenni has a background in sales
and marketing and holds national titles in her field. An attention to detail and awareness are key attributes Jenni possesses, along with an amazing ability as a watch keeper, cook and housekeeper.
Overall, our peers would describe us as fun-loving, enthusiastic, sociable, adventurous people who are easy-going, responsible and adaptable.
