Hi I’m Shane, currently living off grid on Flinders Island in Bass Strait, Tasmania. I’ve spent most of my life around, on or in the ocean… boating, snorkeling, freediving, scuba, and fishing. I’m an avid spearo and fisher, and love to catch and cook.

Recently sailed as crew from Brisbane to near Cairns on a 36ft catamaran, island hopping and out to the reef over a period of nearly 4 weeks. Amazing experience, actually life changing as I’m now set on the path to live this way in the near future.

I’ve always been self employed and have enjoyed the freedom of living day to day for the past 15 years, so have great flexibility to join the next adventure heading north or south.
