Hi I’m Shane, currently living off grid on Flinders Island in Bass Strait, Tasmania. I’ve spent most of my life around, on or in the ocean… boating, snorkeling, freediving, scuba, and fishing. I’m an avid spearo and fisher that can quite happily live off seafood, and love to catch and cook.

I’ve always been self employed and have enjoyed the freedom living day to day for the past 15 years. After spending time van lifeing and traveling East Coast over the past few years, I’m now searching for the ocean adventure that will further my passion for the underwater world.
