I am an adventurous and active individual who is constantly looking to learn something new! I currently reside in Charlotte NC but I'm looking to get out and enjoy the world God created. I just recently quit my desk job and now I'm seeking opportunities to learn new skills and gain unforgettable experiences. I prefer to be outside and busy. I enjoy a range of different activities including rock climbing, camping, backpacking, skydiving, yoga, volleyball, softball, biking, paddle boarding, skiing, snowmobiling, hunting and pretty much anything else if it's outside. I was raised with a strong work ethic and a coachable mentality. I may not have much experience out on the water, but I'm willing and able to soak up as much information that is willing to be taught. If I had to sum myself up I would say that no matter what I'm doing, I always have a smile on my face. Life is full of such wonderful blessings and I am just happy to be alive to get to experience them. This world is full of a lot of crazy and I do my best to just stay away from all that junk. I am pretty simple. I prefer to keep things neat and tidy, I have a healthier lifestyle and try to eat whole, authentic and nutritious food. I can be sarcastic but it all comes from a place I love... I think (; I catch on quick while learning (my old boss can attest to that.) and I think the best part of life is making connections with people and spreading love.

I just recently spent 4 weeks living and working aboard a Tayana 55. I helped with cooking, cleaning, inventory and repairs. I helped clean out storage compartments, organize equipment on board, repair hatch leaks, replace the float switch and more. I don't have much experience being out on the water yet, but I can tell you how much peace I find when I go off grid to backpack and camp. The peace that earth and nature offers is unlike anything else. To be disconnected from the busy cooperate, political world, is so refreshing. I believe that back country camping and sailing have similarities which is why I'm confident in my abilities to catch onto things quickly and thrive in this environment. I also have previous work experience in the food and beverage industry ranging from being the hostess, bartender, server and even working private parties such as weddings and baby showers. I also have an extensive background in childcare going back almost 10 years. Most recently, I nannied for a family with 6 children for almost 3 years. I believe these work experiences will prove valuable aboard any ship!
