Hello!

My name is Cheyenne, I am 27 years old, and I am currently looking for a way to cross the Atlantic starting anywhere in Europe to Central or South America. I am in my final semester of studying Psychology in the University of Zurich and will be available starting from mid December 2024.

I am an open-minded and cheerful person, always up for a laugh and a new adventure. I like to challenge myself and to experience the most in life that I possibly can. It is one of my dreams, to travel the Atlantic by sailboat, in a slow, environmentally friendly way to challenge myself and to learn, see new horizons and to share an extraordinary experience with a crew.

I learn quickly, am uncomplicated, and flexible. I will be fine in any situation I set myself in. I am enthusiastic about outdoor sports in generall, in the winter I love skiing and touring, while in the summer, I enjoy jogging and cycling. Additionally, I am passionate about cooking, reading, and I enjoy both quiet moments and active pursuits.

Next spring, I will begin my work in child and adolescent psychiatry, but before that, I want to fulfill a big dream: crossing the Atlantic on a sailboat and then traveling through South America.

My sailing experience includes sailing dinghies on the lake and a 150-nautical-mile trip around Elba this year. I thoroughly enjoyed these experiences and look forward to learning more and contributing actively.

I am very happy to hear from you, if you are looking to find a hands on addition to your crew, willing to learn and give it my all, to make the experience the best possible for everyone involved.

Do not hesitate to contact me with questions or just to have a chat!

Best regards, Cheyenne :)

My motivation and reasons to crew on a boat

share experienceseek adventurefulfill a dreamface challengessustainable travel

I want to embark on the transatlantic voyage with my partner for many enriching and inspiring reasons.

We are drawn to the idea of visiting remote places, locations that few people have the chance to see. Seeking adventure is a passion we both share, and crossing the Atlantic will provide us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the unknown and push our limits.

Achieving this crossing is a dream we have cherished for a long time. It is an opportunity to face challenges together, to test our endurance and our ability to overcome obstacles. Each day at sea will allow us to gain experience and skills, particularly in learning to sail independently.

Living off the grid, far from civilization, greatly appeals to us. This off-grid lifestyle is a way to reconnect with nature and live more simply and authentically.

We are also very sensitive to the idea of sustainable travel. Sailing is one of the most environmentally friendly forms of transportation. By crossing the Atlantic by sail, we aim to adopt a more ecological lifestyle and demonstrate our commitment to preserving our planet.

In summary, this transatlantic voyage is much more than just a trip for us. It is a human adventure, a personal challenge, and a way to fully live our values.
