Introduction
Hey! I'm Simon. I am a 26 years old french engineer who now wants to travel around the world. And what better way to do that than by sailing ?
I sailed for a little more than 1000 nm, on different boats in Brittany (France), around the Cyclades islands (Greece) and between Gibraltar and Lanzarote. I loved every trips, and I learned a lot from them !
I am able to take part to any manoeuver, can steer, take part in night and day watches. I also take part in the daily life on the boat : I can cook, clean, tidy up the boat, wash dishes, contribute to the daily expenses.
I would be glad to sail with you 😁 !

I used to work as an engineer, and now I’m looking forward to doing a Working Holiday Visa (WHV) in Australia. I am currently in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, searching for a boat to cross the Atlantic. Then my idea is to go through the Panama canal, and then to cross the Pacific. But for now, I am focusing on the Atlantic crossing. I love nature, exploring, and meeting people from all walks of life. I am very eager to contribute by working hard, learning as much as possible, and fostering a chill and pleasant atmosphere.

I started sailing because I wanted to find ways to travel without plane. I discovered a world and a way of life that I now strongly love. Sailing is a truly adventurous way to travel. I like to improvise using the wind. I also love watching the stars (and other boats) with the sounds of the wind and the waves. I also believe that things are more meaningful when they are challenging to achieve. Travelling on sailboats is a fantastic way to experience the adventure I am seeking.
