I’m a 31 year old dutchie who has been traveling around the world for over 4 years and now I would like to sail anywhere around the world! I’ve been sailing small boats since I was a kid, and every year we would rent a sail boat and go sailing in the Netherlands with my family. Now I would like to take the bigger step and sail around the world!
I know small boats are not the same as the bigger boats but I’m super keen to learn! I also started skydiving three years ago and that gave me even a more understanding of the winds! And a small knowledge about ropes. Also during the years I have gained a weird interest of the tides, and studies them a little, and super keen to learn more about it!

I have heaps of experience in hospitality and housekeeping over the whole world and I love cooking for other people! Before I started my travels I was studying building engineering. If I’m not working or skydiving you can find me in the ocean, I love swimming and snorkeling, I also got my PADI open water, although I need to do a refresher but I’m actually planning to do that while im in Fiji!

I have been living in a small van for the last 18 months, sometimes by myself and sometime with someone else. The last 3 months I spent in a van with a friend in New Zealand, we often slept on remote places and it was incredible! We didn’t need much during our travels, just the nature was enough, definitely when I was close to the ocean I was happy! But I’m used to live in small places with other people!
