My name is Macarena and after overcoming cancer I have been selected to go on an expedition to Antarctica this November.
Due to the conditions of the Drake Passage and the harshness of the navigation I need to train and the best way to do it is by sailing.
That is why we would like to accompany you on your journey.
Furthermore, in the future we would like to have our own boat and travel like you.
We have basic knowledge of seamanship and we are quick learners. We work well and follow orders.
We are both quite strong anda have a lot of desire to live adventures and new experiences.
During our voyages we have helped with the maintenance of the boats: tightening guards, changing the anemometer and lighting on the mast, changing halyards, lowering the stay...
We have flexible schedules and can embark anywhere.
I would like, if it were possible, to embark with you to learn not only how to navigate but also your entire experience.
In principle my husband and I would go. He knows how to cook like the gods. Don't believe me, better check it out.
I'm trying to get everyone to help me because I don't have much money to learn by paying for classes and trips.
Could you help me?
A tight hug.
Macarena
