Ahoy! I've been sailing as crew on a beautiful vintage 12 meter single hull for the past three seasons off the western Italian coast. I hope to continue sailing, but I don't have a boat! I'm not certified although I'm an eager learner. I'm US born and a lifelong international citizen. I also have Swiss and French nationalities. I'm a good cleaner upper and I like to keep a tidy deck.

Generally, I'm self-sufficient and adaptable. I have experience with: poor weather conditions; night sailing; navigating, with a planned destination; European stern tie docking; anchoring, with a Windlass; raising sails, but I'm better at lowering them :) ; I am totally capable of preparing a meal while under sail, although I can't say I'm a fabulous chef nor is it my favourite thing to do; I take directions seriously and I act on them to the best of my ability; etc.

I would say, and my last years captain would say, I'm a good sailor, and although he isn't part of this site he said he would be happy to give you a review if you'd like.
