New to sailing but ready to learn ! ☺️
I'm looking for boarding on someone's vessel that is planning on sailing from Canaries Islands to Carribbean (until Cabo-verde is also already super nice) 🙌 I'm currently in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and I would like to cross with a nice, open-minded a cheerful captain ready to teach me about sailing !

I'm 25 years old and have very little sailing experience (a few sailing courses as a child and a few boat trips in Brittany with my parents, but no more than a week each time). Despite this, I have a very strong desire to see this project through. I'm not at all seasick and I've got good sea legs (good balance). I'm very adaptable and a quick learner. I'm also a cheerful, positive person. I'm very curious and love learning new things. I like living in a community and I'm very used to it. I'm very aware that entering a boat means entering someone personal space, home. It goes without doubt for me that I would be super respectful and adaptable to your way of doing things and your life on-board. Of course, I intend to take an active part in the life of the boat (cooking, cleaning, watch-keeping, etc.).

I'm planning to go on a round-the-world trip and as I work as an environmental awareness facilitator (in particular sustainable development) I'd like to travel around the world by boat to change continents. I'd like to go and work for various associations that are directly involved in environmental protection initiatives, while continuing to learn about a whole range of subjects that are useful for raising awareness. So flying is not an option for me, and you'll understand that I'm highly motivated! ☺️
