After spending little time in the Med on a sailboat around 2014 I jumped on a Grand Soleil 45 in Panama in 2022 and sailed across the Pacific with the destination Sydney, Australia.
The crew number on board was anything between 3 and 8 people at a time, while I also sailed for two months from French Polynesia to Fiji double-handed on a Pearson 32. I would say that gives me a pretty good idea of different crewing situations and their challenges, but of course, their perks as well.
The final goal was to participate in the famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race 2022, which we actually did. We finished in the first third of our division and I can truly say, that the preparations as well as the actual race were one of the hardest but most rewarding times of my life.

In October 2024 I am doing my Yachtmaster Offshore in England, my SRC, First Aid Course, and STCW. As I am commercially endorsing my Yachtmaster Offshore I will be ready to work on a sailboat by the end of October.
I am easygoing, looking to get back on the water and sail. I am looking for open communication on a boat, it is a tight space and everyone has their peculiarities, so being able to communicate about differences, problems, or anything in that regard, in a calm manner, is important in my opinion.

After arriving in Hobart and sailing the boat back to Sydney I spent some time in New Zealand where I joined a boat for three weeks to sail to the Great Barrier Island, as well as the Bay of Islands. Being back in Berlin I realize I need to get back on the water.
I know I can be a great benefit on a boat as a crew/deckhand (I am not looking for a position as a stewardess).
