I'm a 27yo frenchie raised in a small carribean island called Guadeloupe. Growing up i was spending a lot of time at sea. I have a university degree in biology and worked as a lab technician before changing career and train as a deckhand to build a career doing something i like. I intend to build a career and become a skipper myself, therefore i take things seriously and act professional. I know i am at the beginning and have a lot to learn. As i'm writing this i justify of 4 months at sea as deckhand on a day cruise charter in Malta and i already learned a lot. I am willing to put in the hard work, deliver what is expected of me, expend my skillset and get to the level i need to pass the captain certifications.
