I have grown up in the mountains, but ever since my early teens I have felt a growing fascination for the oceans. For the vast expanses of water, at the same time limitless and limiting. Complete freedom in one way, yet physically very restrained in the other way.

That is also why I am looking for experiences where I am actively working on and with the sea and not just passively seeing it like on a cruise. If you don't feel what you are surrounded with, you are not really there.
