I am looking, with my partner Arthur, for job opportunities as Skipper and Chef/Stew/mate.
I have been working/sailing on boats for over 4 years (more than 20 000 NM on the counter). I first worked as a deckhand/quartermaster for delivery/crossing/recreational sailing (comfortable helping with sailing, watch keeping, mooring, and deckhand tasks). I now work in the galley.
I occupied various positions such as, second cook on a 114ft M/Y ; sole chef/stewardess on M/Y 85ft Spirit of Ginette ; Chef/stew/mate for charter on S/V 55ft in Dodécanèse.
My actual position is Chef/stew/mate on a private S/Y (Lagoon 51) for the summer season in Med.
As background, I have a Master degree in hospitality management and tourism where I acquired skills before building experiences. I first worked in the luxe industry in hotels and restaurants. I occupied various position as housekeeper, executive assistant, sous chef on land in France and in Panama.
My previous positions occupied in high standards hotels and companies (Sofitel, Chateau de l'Epinay) and educational background in hospitality, catering and tourism built the way I work today (organized, attentive to details, guests oriented). I know how to adapt the service depending on the expectations.
Regarding my cooking, I worked in different types of kitchen (regular, vegetarian and vegan). I usually cook Mediterranean, French and Asian cuisine but I adjust depending on guests wishes and needs. I usually cook with fresh and local products. Everything can be adapted for people with allergies or special diets (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free).
My STCW95 and medical certificate are valide.
