I'm looking for opportunities to get out and sail for more or less a week at the time. Ideally jumping on on boats passing past Portugal going into the meds or coming out towards northern Europe, canaries or azores. But flexible to fly anywhere around around Europe at my expense and will contribute for food also no problem. Just like to go out and sail for a few days and meet other people. I have my own business in Portugal so i have flexibility in when and where.
I am a certified dayskipper and have a VHF certificate. In summer i always rent a 45 foot yacht in Europe to sail with my family, but is all the sailing they want to do per year. I want more. So fall 2022 i went from Portugal to the canaries a 650 nm journey and in June 2023 a delivery from Barcelona to cascais 1150 nm. Since then I have done several deliveries and second skipper to owners all over the med and north sea. I total over 6500 nm. Looking for longer continuous passages or as i call intensive day sailing, especially on fast boats. Intense means, i dont need to be in a marina at 16:00, i love to be on the water as much as can. Ofcourse capable of doing nightwatches on my own and any other chores on board, and also important, i don`t get seasick. So if looking for a crewmember for a few days please get in touch.

Have a family and a business so pretty full life, so like to go out on the water and just enjoy. Am very down to earth and pragmatic person with a very good sense of humor. Like to be part of a crew, not afraid of responsibilities or takes decisions. Appreciate someone else opinions, as long as this is mutual. Am clean and organised person myself and prefer if is like that on board as well.

Love to be on the water, and especially on longer passages, love the "bubble " feeling. Living the rhythm of the watches and the boat and weather is all that counts. Being part of a crew also means you get people to know very well, especially when things are not going as planned. Sharing the passion for sailing is where it starts and from there the conversations and discussions can go anywhere, which is from time to time very refreshing. Obviously also want to increase my skills and experience but this goes without saying.
