I am looking at a new adventure. I was lucky enough to spend some time on a beautiful Cat in the Bahamas 2 years ago and met a couple that are 'crewmates' So this is my investigation on if it is a fit for me. I am still working during the week and would like to experience some weekend excursions. Check out this lifestyle and what it is truly like. If it becomes all I think, then, I'd like to make this lifestyle a more on water than on land adventure.
UPDATE 1-5-24 Hi Captain
I want to introduce myself. I’m robin, I’m 66 and fit. I am seeking a sailing/living on board experience.
I work in the Miami area. I am easy going, I don't judge and I'm all about being drama free. I enjoy riding my bike, playing pickleball and dancing, good music, walking.
During the summer my business slows down because my clientele travels to cooler weather. This would be a good time to join as a crew member/guest. I am willing to learn and help. I’m a decent cook, and I learn quickly and like to be useful, so I would pitch in and help were I’m needed. Even washing the boat.
This is new to me, so I’m not sure of the protocol to join a sailing vessel. I do know that I’d want to get to know the people I’d be sailing with, as I’m sure you’d want to get to know me.
I am open to romance, I wouldn’t say ‘seeking’ it, friendships are very welcome.
If you are interested to see if we can pursue this, send me a message. I can commit to 2 weeks in June or July. My email is visible if we have a match. **UPDATE** I have my 2024 adventure scheduled. The same availability will apply for 2025
