I'm currently on a worldtrip and noticed that I really do like to be on boats. Sounds weird, but coming from a region without any lakes, I probably needed to travel to get that revelation.
After an amazing 10 days on a monohull sailing through the Cyclades in Greece in 2022, I signed up for an Inshore Skipper Course in Thailand. I did this in November 2022 and am now a newly certified skipper.

As I'm officially hooked on this newfound passion, I really want to gain more experience and go sailing.

What I can offer: a fun, open-minded, easy going person who's eager to contribute and doesn't mind hands-on work. I speak a few languages, love to dance salsa, am a diver, don't say no to a bottle of wine in good company and love to meet new people. Generally, I just enjoy my life right now, travel around and discover new passions (e.g. sailing).

After travelling through Latin America for 6 months and spending the summer in Europe (home), I'm now traveling through south-east Asia. That's why I'm looking for opportunities around Southeast Asia. My next stop is Indonesia. So anywhere around there would be perfect. Well, going to Raja Ampat would be a dream (but not a must).

I spent the last 4 months mostly in Thailand (and a little bit in Laos).
At the beginning I just stayed on Koh Tao (Thailand) for 1.5 months and improved my diving: am a rescue diver now. I also did an ecological diver course which was amazing. I love the marine life and appreciate it very much (and hence will pick up any trash I find in the water).

In November I did the 2-weeks Inshore Skipper course in Phuket. That means now I
- have some sailing knowledge (just lacking the experience)
- am free for sailing!!

At the end of January I'll fly to Bali and then travel through Indonesia for 2 months (hopefully including some time on boats). Theoretically, I would go to the Philippines after that. But if I find a sailing opportunity, I'm open to go to wherever the wind takes me.
My only plan is that I'd like to go back home to Germany around May 2022.

So any opportunities between Indonesia, the Philippines or somewhere around south-east Asia are highly appreciated! My itinerary is very flexible.
