Dear Shipmates
Introduction
Searching for the next adventure! This could be anywhere in the world but I prefer sailing in the warmer areas.
I have spend a fair bit of time on different boats learning about life on the water. This started in 2018 when I worked as a teacher on a tall ship for six months crossing the Atlantic twice. In 2022 I started a big trip and luckily some of it was spend on the water. In January and February I was crew on a monohull in the Bahamas. In April I spend two weeks on a sailboat going from the UK to France. In November I have been part of the crew on a small boat in Brazil. I learned lots about sailing and would like to continue working on these skills. I enjoy fishing (and gutting), snorkeling and baking fresh bread. When not on a boat I like hiking, cycling and exploring new destinations. Right now I am spending the year in my home country (NL) and work as a teacher in biology in a secondary school. I enjoy spending time with friends and family but adventure is always calling...!
Sharing these adventures with like minded people is a big part of the experience for me. I like to work in a team of at least 4 people. Empathy, humour and positivity are things I need in the team to be a happy crew member :).

I'm an easy going person that normally gets along with everybody. I am learning to speak Spanish so being on a boat with Spanish speaking people would be perfect.
