Hello, I'm a forestry engineer working full time but have a fairly flexible schedule and lots of time off. With some advance notice it is easy for me to get away for up to 8 weeks at a time. I'm a qualified day skipper, I currently own a 26' day sailor and have been messing about in boats all my adult life. In 2022 I completed a 6 week passage down the west coast of British Columbia crewing on a 37' HR. I then completed a 3 week voyage on the same boat in 2023 from Seattle to Desolation Sound. In 2024 I sailed the 3000 nm blue water passage from Puerto Vallarta (Mex) to French Polynesia. I am eager to expand my open water sailing skills and knowledge further. I'm very adaptable and competent and make an excellent first mate or crew member.

Being a skipper myself, I know the value of a crew member who can follow instructions. The second most import attribute is the ability to get along with the rest of the crew. I can assure you I have both of these in spades. I'm an open minded, adaptable, clear thinker who is reliable and not afraid to ask questions if I don't understand something. I will always have the safety of the boat and the crew at top of mind. I am in excellent health and reasonably fit. I have no medical conditions, limitations. allergies or special dietary needs.
