Older mature captain; took a sabbatical from the yachting industry to work at home while the kids where young. Have approx. 150,000nm as both a commercial and yacht captain. Started as an unlimited ships engineer with an M.Eng in ships however found that I liked the wheelhouse as much as I liked the engine room.

Would like to find a family yacht that is based in one or two ports as I would be interested in relocating to where the yacht is. I also have a crew that would be willing to move from their respective yachts to work for me again.

I'm easy going however know the work and job and run a tight ship. I've worked for some of the richest families and well run yachts in the industry and enjoyed it immensely. If your actually interested in a good solid working captain and not a TV show type captain then let me know. I'm the first up and last to sleep, I dive the boat and I'm not scared of grease on my hands.

So unlike most that are using this site I'm not looking for adventure as I've been in the yachting industry for decades. I love the ocean, yachts and boating in general and love what I do. I'm well travelled, well educated and grounded which suits this industry and work.
