I sailed for many years with my father , starting on a 12ft Sunfish with his last boat being a 34 Ericson. We primarily raced , daysailed,and general fun cruising. I crewed from Hawaii to San Francisco my senior summer of high school on the 58ft ketch Minots Light. I spent 4 years in the Coast Guard as a diesel mechanic, firefighter and safety officer. I was assigned to an 82’ search and rescue patrol boat and 2 years on an ice breaker out of Kodiak, Ak. My sailing has been very limited since I moved to Colorado twenty years ago. I became US Sailing Bareboat certified in 2020 and my first bareboat charter , 45' beneteau this past summer (2021) and have since purchased a 22ft US Bucanneer. Bought a 1980 33' Hunter this past summer (2022) in Arkansas. She is on Greers Ferry.My latest sailing was Nov 2022 trip from Portland Maine to Myrtle Beach.
