I love the wind and the water.

I used to being on the water; I live on a (motor)boat in Amsterdam, having a small sailing boat next to it and a kitesurf set for the bigger winds. Also I am part of a sailing team for competitions with historic 20m sailing ships (so called "skutsjes"), there I trim the sail. I also did some sailing competitions with a Hobiecat on the North Sea.

I have experience in open sea sailing and going through night shifts; I sailed as a mate on a 33ft yacht from Portugal to Italy, we encountered all different types of weather (and mechanical problems..).
