Introduction
I am an air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation technician with at least 45 years of experience. At age 65 I gained my RYA Ocean Skippers ticket ( commercially endorsed) which I rewrote and passed in 2019. In June 2023 I rewrote my STCW's and in Feb 2024 I passed my Medical fitness examination. Unfortunately I don't have enough sea miles as at December 2023 to gain my commercial endorsement.

My experience has been on new Catamarans. The earning of money is not a major criteria unless I am going to be employed as a delivery skipper or be part of a charter team. Even under these circumstances I am open to negotiation especially now that I cant gain a commercial endorsement without considerable sea miles. I have a step son living in Vancouver and it would be great to visit him and his wife via the Ocean.
