Introduction
Hey everyone,
I'm Susanna from Barcelona, currently based in Menorca (Balearic Islands) and I'm looking to crew on a sailboat for a trip in Maldivas this December, January ‘25 or February ‘25.
In 2020, I crossed the Atlantic on a Lagoon 40 ft from southern Spain to Barbados via Las Palmas, which was an incredible experience! The year before, I spent two months sailing around the South Pacific (Samoa - Fiji - New Zealand) on a 45 ft Catamaran. In 2021, I crossed the Atlantic again, this time from the Canary Islands (Lanzarote) to the BVI on a Lagoon 45 ft. Additionally, I've done several passages between Spain and the Balearic Islands on a Dufour 40 ft. While I'm still learning and don’t have extensive experience operating a boat, I've sailed approximately 9,000 nautical miles.
My main goal is to continue developing my sailing skills and have fun along the way. I hold an STCW (2018) and an ENG1 certification, and I have a PADI Open Water certification.
I love the sea and have traveled around the world. I'm happy to share costs and assist with all onboard duties, including sailing, watches, cooking, cleaning and fishing. I speak Spanish, English and learning German.
