Hello, I am an outdoor education teacher looking for opportunities to gain experience and mentors from whom I can learn as much as I can about offshore and coastal sailing. I have had around 8 years of experience sailing and racing small boats (sunfish, 420) on lakes and sounds. I have 1050nm logged from a New England coastal cruse (200) and a Caribbean delivery job (850). I am healthy, hard working, and very willing to listen and learn. I also have an EMT certification with 1 year of experience working in ambulances.

My goal is to gain enough experience and confidence to live aboard and singlehand my own sailboat. I love the ocean and enjoy the detail-oriented and dirty work that comes with sailing. Closing the loop, learning from others, becoming more environmentally self-sustainable.
