I'm a retired informatics engineer, my wife a retired psychiatrist. For a couple of years we spent several weeks a year navigating on a solar powered boat on french canals and rivers. Since 2014 years we own a sailing boat on the lake of Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
Hiking, cycling, swimming, cross county and alpine skiing are some of our activities
We try to live environment friendly. Using public transport (no flying!) if possible, for short distances bicycles.

We like traveling on canals and rivers. As we can't afford buying a boat this is a good opportunity to have at least a bit of boating.
AND: It is a way to meet new people and perhaps even make new friends.
