Flexible with the schedule and locations, yet keen on safe passages with competent skippers from whom I can learn. I have completed the ASA 101/103/104 classes and currently in ASA 105. I am a retired mechanical engineer looking to knock things off the 'bucket' list. While still young, adventures and experiences are sought. My children are doing their thing and I am a widower, making my schedule my own to decide. I have sailed various places on the Great Lakes, the Chesapeake, the Caribbean, in the big waters on both sides of the Atlantic and in the Mediterranean. I am looking to building many more sail miles. I am looking for short term crew opportunities from Point A to B, and in no particular hurry to get there. I am a US Citizen while also fluent in the German language. I have traveled to many of the US states and lived in Europe for several years, allowing my family and I to see/live many different cultures.
