Ahoy Captains!
I am an easygoing open-minded IT professional/engineer who dreams of the ocean travel while in the office. I would love to join you on your adventure and provide my help and expertise to make it a fun and easy voyage. I have experience with marine electrical and electronics systems installation and repairs. Can cook in high seas. Generally considered a hard worker and team player.
I race sailboats, but am a cruiser at heart. Learned sailing on dinghies and skiffs. Raced Star Class for 4 seasons, then switched to larger yachts for racing in Pacific North West regattas. Cruise year round on my own C&C 34. I was also a fleet captain with a major sailing coop for a few years.
I skippered a 50ft steelhull schooner from Vancouver BC to Tahiti between Aug 2023 and June 2024. Delivered a Leopard 46 cat from Fiji to New Zealand in November 2024.
Certs: Offshore Personal Survival, Offshore First Aid, IYT Yachtsmaster Offshore, Coastal and Celestial Navigation.
