Dear Shipmates,
my Girlfriend and me are doing a Work & Travel Year in New Zealand. Back home I sailed a few times inshore around the area of Denmark in the north sea on a 13 meter vessel. I used the compass to navigate and steered the boat as well. I do have lots of windexperience from wind- and kitesurfing. I learned sailing on a small 3 person vessel. Afterwards I teached it to children. A 2 person catamaran (sportive) I sailed on a lake quiet often. Right now I finished my studies to become a Sports & Technology teacher for children in school. I really would like to spent more time on bigger vessel to increase my knowledge, of course that means to take orders like a crew member has to. I'm a really social and handy person who likes to communicate. My girlfriend worked as a cook quiet often (about 5 months) for youth camps, she could help there very good. She's able to understand what it means to live on a vessel as well ;) Until our journey starts we are building our van, will fly to Fiji on the 9th of November and furthermore to Vanuatu on the 15th of November. We both want to visit the Yasur volcano and afterwards head back to New Zealand with you.
