Bula bula!

If you're relocating your yacht back from the islands to NZ or onwards to Indonesia I'd love to hear from you! I spent a month in Fiji in June but had to come home for work until Sept. That completed I'm looking for another adventure and the chance to get my sailing miles up. I've been diving for half my life, and although I don't have a huge amount of sailing experience (delivery NZ to Fiji and some crewing in the Med) I've spent a long time at sea, I'm a quick learner and I'm very comfortable on boats. If you're looking for an extra pair of hands, a punctual watchkeeper and a good sense of humour then I'm your girl ;)

I am a fisheries observer, meaning that I often spend 6-8 weeks at sea on fishing vessels and am used to extended periods offshore. I don't mind rough weather or unusual hours, and I'm good at fitting in with a new crew. I'm hooked on sailing, so I'm looking for a boat with experienced skipper and crew I can learn from and hone my skills. I love to spend as much time in and under the water as possible, my passion for diving has taken me to some incredibly beautiful places all over the world, and I couldn't imagine a better combo than diving and sailing! Also, I could be useful for the occasional hull scrub or retrieval of lost items..

I love to scuba dive, snorkel and surf (longboard) and have a huge passion for the ocean, and sharks and rays in particular. I can spend all day in the water taking photos and getting to know the reef inhabitants. I also love to travel, and I speak French, Spanish and Russian to a reasonable level. I've been at home in NZ for 3 years, but before that I was away every winter visiting South Africa, Europe or the Azores islands. I'm an easy going and relaxed character, and I'm really excited to get into the sailing sphere, since just about everyone I've met this far has been so genuine and friendly. It seems like an amazing way to my spend time.. exploring the ocean in the company of awesome people and getting to experience some remote and pristine places off the beaten track.
