Hi everybody!
My name is Andy and I've sailed on a variety of boats from tiny catamarans, to 60ft monohulls. I've got the ICC, and RYA Dayskipper qualifications, and love to sail in a variety of conditions - doing anything from lazy cruising, to serious racing.
I'm a relaxed professional (former Architect, now owner of a chain of Pilates Gyms) who lives in Malaysia. Easy-going, impossible to anger, and just like to learn and have a good time. I'm not a party animal, but enjoy sundowners and meeting new people. I love to get the sails up and get the boat moving.
I'm interested in short 2-week-or-less sails in Malaysia and Thailand - especially on small family crews who want to do some island hopping and maybe need to do the Phuket/Langkawi leg. Due to limited time, I'm not interested in major boat-prep, stainless-polishing, or hull-scrubbing - but I'm definitely willing to pay a contribution to the boat kitty, and I'm happy to help out with my share of cooking and washing up, as well as watch-keeping and other normal tasks to enjoy the trip.
So whether you're a cruiser who needs an extra hand for some sailing, or a racer looking for some crew, I hope you'll consider me for some friendly, fun times. I'm married - my wife also sails, but she's pretty busy with her Business, so it will just be me for now unless the time-window is perfect.
I'm allergic to milk and butter, so I often bring my own separate food.
